Yes. I missed Friday due to car trouble that stranded me in the wrong city. Thursday, I was changing my oil in Baltimore at my Dad's house -- Dad has the cool tools -- and noticed that I could see the steel webbing through the rubber on my front driver's side tire. So, yeah, that's not good. I got a new 'un at Goodyear, and they fixed my alignment so it wouldn't happen again. Didn't get to comeback to DC.

Then I went to see Lareina, a smashing young lady whom fate has conspired to place in various and sundry Middles of Nowhere. I am hers, truly. Hence: L'sT.

I got in a harrowing accident coming back. Hydroplaned and spun out and landed in a creek. I am fine, and my car is fine-ish. I got mud in the tires. On the one hand, I am very lucky nothing really bad happened. That other hand has to do with the whole spinning-off-the-road-out-of-control thing, but I try to ignore that hand.

But you knew that, Bowen. I think. I think that wacky Jakob "Cupid" Bowen is just trying to get on my good side by letting me talk about my special lady.

Anyway, you all get a new comic tomorrow. I have nightmares when I don't have the comic on time. I tossed and turned this weekend. No, seriously.

Yo, I haven't been home since Tuesday. I'll not be home until Sunday. So I say look here for new comicness Monday or Tuesday. Kay? Kay.

Today's comic will be up shortly. We're in the process of getting caught up on some old scripts that never got finished, then I'll start writing some new stuff. Not that that will matter much to you folks, since whatever we put up will be new to you.

That's Steelcoat. I'm still working on the coloring on him, but I really like his suit.
This is no-limit Texas Hold 'Em. Really no limit.

I've been working on this strip since Thursday and thought I would get it done for Friday, but I got very distracted by the cards. This site was a good resource.
