I just noticed that this is only four minutes later than the last one...

Tony Hawk 4
There nearly wasn't a comic today because I just rented the most mind-blowing friggin' game.  The two-player mode is the bomb, and the levels are huge.  I had Jason by his shirtfront, yelling, "Do you realize that, if I do a revert into a manual, it means I can do a NEVERENDING combo?!?!?!
He did in fact seem to realize this.

The Inhumans
Letitia was cool enough to lend me her graphic novel, The Inhumans.  This modern treatment of the classic super-hero race is absolutely beautiful, and grandly influenced the look of today's comic.
The look inside the character of Black Bolt is especially genius, casting the man in a totally new light, as a thoughtful, aloof, and supremely wise leader.  For those of you unfamiliar with the comic, Black Bolt is unable to speak, because his voice resonates such that a yell would destroy the world, and a whisper would level mountains.  He is also the king of the Inhumans, a gifted race of folks.  It's a tricky combination of circumstances.
If you're into comics at all, pick this one up.

Boxers
Boxers are downright awful.  I might as well be wearing a skirt under my pants.  Boxer briefs are the only acceptable male undergarment.  Unless you have a holster in your garter...

--alright, I'm done; get the guard to take me back to my room.

Nate Bell has one of the hippest profiles around, so I talked him into linking the comic in it.  Booyah to you, Nate.

Of counters and html:
I must admit, I have long desired to have a counter on the page, but never went to the trouble of learning how to make it work.  I rooted through the pages of PSU webspace how-to's, and I like the little one I found.  All shall love it and despair.

Ben Banks taught me how to use the slice tool in Photoshop to make the strip itself load faster.  It's about twice as fast now.  I never noticed, since the image is already in my computer and I have a "line-at-the-base-of-my-spine" connection to the PSU webspace, but anyone who's accessing this remotely, or (heaven forefend) with a dial-up connection, should notice a difference.  I'm not real clear on how it works, but it do.  Oh, how it do.

Ah, before I forget, Lisa Simcoke was cool enough to link TBM (that's shorthand for "The Bearded Men," pad'wan) in her profile, and told her friends to do the same, cuzza it's the hip thing to do.
